I hiked to the top of Guadalupe Peak which was about 8 miles and 3,100 feed of elevation gain over rough, rocky and steep trails. But the views were great and I had the top to myself for 20 minutes. It was so quiet and peaceful, I could hear the swoosh of birds passing by.
